A maskandi artiste from Zikhuba location in Mbizana has vowed to continue supporting the genre of music, as he learnt it from his father, Mlindelwa Mralatya, better known as Nkunzemdaka.
Silungile Mralatya, who performs under the name, Nkenzancane, recently released his second album titled Lisakhanya.
He said his album consists of 10 songs, including eGoli, eMampondweni and Phindile.
“I grew up watching my father, since he was a well-known artiste who played a major role in ensuring that Maskandi Music is alive. I then chose to follow in his steps because this is what I like,” said Silungile.
He added that he released his first album, titled ePalamente, and its accompanying single in 2018.
He thanked one of his supporters, Simlindile Mjuleka from Qungebe area in Bizana, who donated some of money with the aim of showing him support.
“I also thank Yonela Ngcoya from Ntabankulu, who also played a major role by giving me support all along.
“I believe that my supporters would love my album because I have shown all the efforts that I have on it.”
He confirmed that those who want his music could download it on all online music apps.
