An artist from Mpoza locality in KwaBhaca, Loyiso Ngobozana (23), is worried about the lack of platforms in his area where he can display his work.
Ngobozana said he had natural talent as an artist but had not studied it as a subject.
“What kept me going is the amazing work, creativity and incredible improvement all these years. But there are some challenges that make my hope fade away.
“It is hard to be famous and make money with my talent because I’m living in a rural area,” said Ngobozana.
He said people don’t show interest in artists and people who want him to draw their portrait are very rare.
He said another challenge is that he does not have access to quality art equipment.
“I only sell my work to those few people who are interested in it, here in my area.”
