IT looks as though Bizana soccer team, Sinenkani FC, is facing yet another huge disappointment.
Earlier this month, the ABC Motsepe League Eastern Cape Stream B side was eliminated in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup competition by Tshakhuma FC and everyone in the team and the club’s supporters were left disappointed.
After that recent disappointing result, team supporters were hoping that their players would bounce back and redeem themselves by winning the league title in Stream B.
However, by the look of things on the current league table standings, Sinenkani FC will need miracles to win the title.
This follows after the current league leaders in Stream B, BCM Stars FC, registered an important victory over the weekend, when they thrashed AmaMpondo United FC 4-0 to open up a five-point gap.
This result has put more pressure on Sinenkani FC who is in second position with 29 points and has only two games remaining.
BCM Stars FC is sitting comfortably on top of the table with 34 points and one game remaining.
It means this weekend fixtures will be crucial and interesting to both teams.
This weekend Sinenkani FC will visit Matta Milan FC while BCM Stars FC will visit struggling Birmingham City.
In other fixtures, Swartkops Valley United Brothers will host Lion City and Bush Pirates will entertain Thohoyandou FC away.
A win for BCM Stars will guarantee them the league title.
Sinenkani need to win both remaining games and hope that BCM Stars lose to Birmingham City.
All this weekend’s games will be played on Saturday afternoon at the same time.
