Well-known DJ, singer and producer, Mthobeli “Mist” Xabendlini, from Southernwood in Mthatha, will be hosting a three-day Mist Black on Black Birthday Soiree Festival, from Friday to Sunday, February 4-6.
The first event would be held at Highness on Friday, followed by Nkandla Lifestyle on Saturday, and then Kaya’s Place in Tsolo on Sunday.
All events would start at 10am and continue until late.
He said this party would be based on fashion, lifestyle and music. and was strongly driven by the all black theme.
“This is a premier festival on three different days at three different venues to celebrate one of the great DJs to hail from Mthatha. I have had a major influence in pushing the entertainment industry of Mthatha,” said Xabendlini.
He said this festival would also seek to create a platform for socialising and networking for the working class of Mthatha and the entire Eastern Cape.
“It would also provide a platform for local vendors and suppliers to sell and provide their services to their supporters.”
