The founder of Lang’thole Drum Majorettes hosted a Christmas party for the members of his group at Marambeni location in Mthatha, last weekend.
This group of children, from ages 9 to 15, all come from the Marambeni community. Lang’thole is a non-profit organisation.
According to the founder of this organisation, Sandiso Mcinga, it provides extramural activities and looks after young children.
He said they worked towards making a difference in the lives of young people by providing unique artistic and athletic experiences and performances. “Every year we always plan to celebrate Christmas with all the members of our organisation. Our vision is to promote virtue, equity, unity, justice, faith, charity and a sense of common purpose and brotherhood among all people with an emphasis on the development and advancement of young people through education, athletes, service and the arts,” said Mcinga.
