NTABANKULU team Executive Ladies is still enjoying their unbeaten run in the Sasol League Inland Stream, after they registered another important victory over the weekend.

Coach Khetho Ngonini’s side, Executive Ladies, has maintained their unbeaten run by beating third-place side Red Roses Ladies 1–0 at Ntabankulu in Alfred Nzo on Saturday afternoon.

The weekend result assisted Ngonini’s team to remain on top of the log with 21 points, after they won seven consecutive league games since the start of the season.

The second-place team, Eastern Cape Peace Lovers’ FC, is doing their best to close a gap between them and the log leaders.

Over the weekend the Ngcobo team Eastern Cape Peace Lovers’ FC thrashed WSU Mthatha Campus Ladies 5–2 at home to register their fifth victory this season.

This victory helped the Ngcobo team to increase their points tally to 15 after the six matches they have played, and it means they have a game in hand.

This Saturday all the top teams chasing the top spot will have another opportunity to increase their points tally, and close a gap between them and the log leaders, as third place side Red Roses Ladies will host the mid-table side Eastern Rangers FC.

Bottom side Coastal United Ladies’ FC will visit WSU Mthatha Campus Ladies and the log leaders Executive Ladies will host second place team, Eastern Cape Peace Lovers’ FC, in a highly-anticipated league clash.

Looking at the Sasol League Coastal Stream, Sophakama Ladies’ FC are leading the log with 22 points after they reshuffled Navy Galaxy Ladies’ FC to second place last weekend.

Over the weekend, Sophakama Ladies’ FC played to a 1–1 draw against Navy Galaxy Ladies’ FC to maintain their top spot, and it is the only side yet to taste a defeat this season in the Coastal Stream.

This weekend fixture in the Coastal Stream will see Sophakama Ladies’ FC host Kilimanjaro Stars’ FC, Volcano Ladies will entertain Golden Stars Ladies’ Football Development, Rhodes University will host Madibaz, and Navy Galaxy Ladies’ FC will visit Phoenix Birds Ladies’ FC.

All these league fixtures will be played Saturday afternoon.
