FC Relatives from Thanga Village near Butterworth have remained at the top of the log standings in the Amathole Hollywoodbets Regional League Stream E following this weekend’s results.

Meanwhile, Ndabankulu SSS FC is the only team yet to secure a victory since the start of the season.

Since the Amathole Hollywoodbets Regional League Stream E season began earlier this year, FC Relatives, Ngqamakhwe City FC, Musketeers FC, and Kentane United FC have been battling hard for the top spot.

However, recent results have slightly altered the order of the top four teams in the standings. Ngqamakhwe City FC has overtaken Centane-based Musketeers FC for the second position, while Kentane United FC has moved from fourth to third place. Musketeers FC dropped from second to fourth place, while FC Relatives retained their top spot with 15 points after six games.

The reshuffling of positions follows FC Relatives’ 1-0 victory over Ngqamakhwe United FC, Ngqamakhwe City FC’s 1-0 win against FC Montego, and Kentane United FC’s 1-0 victory over Musketeers FC in a Centane derby.

These recent results have had a significant impact on the top four teams, who are seen as serious league contenders in the Amathole Hollywoodbets Regional League Stream E.

In other results, Amakotomane FC beat FC Tshabalala 1-0, Young Stars United FC suffered a 1-0 defeat against Inter-City Sports Club, and WSU Butterworth FC added to Ndabankulu SSS FC’s woes by thrashing them 4-1. This means Ndabankulu SSS FC remains the only team yet to register a victory this season, rooted at the bottom of the standings with zero points after five games. Above them is FC Montego with 3 points from five games.

At the top of the log, FC Relatives lead with 15 points, followed by Ngqamakhwe City FC with 13 points. Kentane United FC holds the third position with 13 points, followed by Musketeers FC with 12 points.

This Saturday, the battle for the top spot will continue as FC Relatives face Kentane United FC, Ngqamakhwe City FC hosts Young Stars United FC, Musketeers FC entertains Amakotomane FC, Inter City Sports Club visits Ngqamakhwe United FC, WSU Butterworth FC locks horns with FC Tshabalala in a Butterworth derby, and Ndabankulu SSS FC searches for their first victory of the season against fellow bottom dwellers FC Montego.
