A gospel artist from Dubeni locality in Lady Frere, Nomfundo Nketsha, is on a mission to give people new hope with her gospel music, as she is busy preparing for her second album that will be released in November this year.
She said her first album, titled Uzungandishiyi Nkosi, which consisted of 10 songs, was released in 2021.
According to Nketsha, her home was used as a church when they were growing up. She said she loved music, to the extent that she decided to follow her heart and preach the word of God using music.
“I then started looking for a studio where I could record my album. I was so lucky because I got G2G studio. Most of the songs that I am singing I took from the hymns of African Native Mission Church (ANMC). Due to some certain challenges, I delayed selling and promoting them,” said Nketsha.
Among the songs that are on her album are eZulwini kukomkhulu, wenza amakholwa ngcwele and uzunga ndishiyi Nkosi.
Nketsha added that her music is available on YouTube, and her supporters can search and follow her on the Facebook page Nomfu Nomfundo Nhonti.
