A Grade 10 learner, Mhlali Blackie (16), from Inkwenkwezi Senior Secondary School in Cape Town, has followed her dream of writing her first book titled, Ukuzazi, ukuzithemba nokuzi nakekela.
She is originally from Mvalo location in Ngcobo.
She said her book is a novelette and consists of 138 pages including a CAPS analysis. According to her, she started writing this book in 2020.
“I feel excited and blessed to have this book finally published as it is a dream come true for me, and I can now be able to make a change in the society through this book,” she said.
She confirmed that she would continue with this talent because she believes that it is her calling and that she would empower people and enrich minds through writing.
“I advise young people who want to follow in my footsteps to never give up on their dreams because dream do come true.”
