Mnya FC chairperson, Mnyamezeli Madolo, has applauded his players for their sterling performance in the second leg of the league.
In the second leg of the OR Tambo Regional Inland Stream SAB League, Mnya FC only lost once against WSU FC, 2-1.
They are currently in fifth position, with 17 points.
This past weekend, Mnya FC won 3-1 against the struggling Rangers FC and they are left with only three games before the closure of the league season.
Madolo said their intention this year was to remain in the SAB League top flight.
“We do not want to be relegated and as things stand we are still safe from relegation,” said Madolo.
Mnya FC was established in 2018 and it has attracted a number of top teams.
Recently the Chippa United MDC team visited Libode to share their skills with the Mnya FC players.
Jacaranda FC is still leading the OR Tambo Inland stream log.
