Mqanduli police launch manhunt following murder of two women




Mqanduli police have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in the murder of two elderly women on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Mbozisa Locality in Marubeni Administrative Area, Mqanduli.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, the two women were found lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds.

“It is alleged that police were summoned to a scene where they found two bodies of women between 57 and 88 years both lying in a pool of blood. They sustained bullet wounds and the motive for the killing is under investigation,” Mdleleni said.

Police have opened two cases of murder and have appealed to members of the community for their assistance in tracing and arresting the perpetrators.
