NAV Galaxy Ladies’ FC and Executive Ladies’ FC are the current log leaders in their respective streams of the Eastern Cape Sasol League.

Ntabankulu-based team, Executive Ladies, still maintain their unbeaten run this season, as they punished mid-table side, Eastern Rangers FC, 5–0 away on Saturday afternoon.

The result helped coach Khetho Ngonini’s team, Executive Ladies, remain the log leaders in the Sasol League Inland Stream by 15 points after 5 games, followed by Eastern Cape Peace Lovers FC with 15 points in six league matches.

This follows after Ngcobo team Eastern Cape Peace Lovers FC registered their fifth victory of the season when they beat bottom side 4800 Ladies’ FC over the weekend.

Though it is still the first round of the Sasol League Inland Stream, the top four teams in the division are starting to fight for the top spot until the end of the season.

Mthatha team, Ayakha Stars FC, defeated WSU Mthatha Campus Ladies by 3–2 in an effort to keep on chasing the log leaders.

With the weekend victory, Ayakha Stars FC has remained in third position by 12 points in five games, while Red Roses Ladies occupy fourth position with 10 points after they beat bottom side Coastal United Ladies FC by 2–0 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, in the Sasol League Coastal Stream, Nav Galaxy Ladies’ FC is leading the log table by 15 points after six matches. This comes after Nav Galaxy Ladies’ FC punished Bay Stars FC 4–0 to maintain their top spot over the weekend.

Sophakama Ladies’ FC is following the log leaders by 15 points after their recent hard-fought 3–2 win away against Golden Stars Ladies’ Football Development to keep the battle for top spot hot.

Gqeberha team, Sophakama Ladies’ FC, has a game in hand, as they played five matches this season compared with the log leaders who have already played six.

Volcano Ladies and Kilimanjaro Stars occupy third and fourth places, with nine points each.

This weekend the battle for the top spot will continue in both streams.

In the Sasol League Inland Stream, log leaders Executive Ladies will host a tricky Ayakha Stars FC at Ntabankulu. Eastern Cape Peace Lovers FC will entertain Coastal United Ladies’ FC in Ngcobo. WSU Mthatha Campus Ladies will host relegation candidate Cumakala FC, and 4800 Ladies’ FC will visit Eastern Rangers FC.

All the games will be played on Saturday afternoon.

In the Sasol League Coastal Stream, Nav Galaxy Ladies’ FC will host Kilimanjaro Stars. Volcano Ladies will visit Sophakama Ladies’ FC. Bay Stars will entertain Madibaz FC at home, and Phoenix Birds Ladies’ FC will welcome Golden Stars Football Development. All the games will be played on Saturday.
