A new gospel artiste from Mkhandlwini location in Mbizana, Paula Mbizweni, wants to restore people’s hope through her music.

Mbizweni said she had released her new album titled, Ngithobise, which consists of 10 songs. Some of her songs that are found on this album are Imini Yokugcina, uJesu uyabuya and Ngithobise.

She said she grew up listening to the music of Rebecca Malope and Deborah Fraser. She said their music played a massive role in inspiring her to use her talent.

“I am interested in meeting or working with them one day. I am a born-again Christian who loves gospel music so much.

“I started singing at a very young age; I used to sing at funerals at my village because of my talent. That is when I realised that I could use my voice to heal other people,” said Mbizweni.

She said she was busy working on her second album that would be released this year. Mbizweni confirmed that her music was available on all music platforms.
