The Tsomo Regional Court has sentenced Gcinikhaya Mpambani (54) from Phakade Village in Ngqamakhwe to 15 years imprisonment for the murder of Monde Gubevu (55).
Police spokesperson, Captain Siphokazi Mawisa said that Mpambani had a quarrel with Gubevu which led to the subsequent fatal stabbing.
“Gubevu was rushed to hospital where he passed away,” said Mawisa.
She added that a case of murder was opened for investigation at the Nqamakhwe police station.
