Ntinga O.R. Tambo Development Agency SOC Ltd has appointed Loyiso Mbiko as its new chief executive officer (CEO) for a period of five years with effect from December 1.
The position of CEO had been vacant since January, when the previous CEO resigned. Mbiko had been occupying the position in an acting capacity.
The newly appointed CEO is a BCom Honours graduate.
He also holds an International Certificate in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and an Advanced Certificate Programme in Management Development for Municipal Finance (CPMD) from Wits Business School.

His vast experience also includes maintaining Ntinga’s good financial management record, having maintained an unqualified audit opinion for a period of seven years.
The Ntinga interim board of directors, led by chairperson Dr Lindile Ndabeni, has wished Mbiko well on his new appointment.
Ntinga was established by the O.R. Tambo District Municipality as a service utility to serve as a special purpose vehicle, responsible for spearheading local economic development in the O.R. Tambo District and has since been converted to a state-owned company limited.
