Police from Dalasile Police Station are hunting for suspects
who were allegedly involved in the fatal killing a man (74) at Nkondlo
Administrative Area in Engcobo on Monday, January 17.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, it
is alleged that the elderly man was at his homestead having supper with his
family when two armed men kicked open the door, fired shots and then fled.
“He died on the scene while the other members were injured.
A case of murder and attempted murder has been opened and police are following
up all leads,” said Mdleleni.
