Police in Lusikiski are on the hunt for alleged murder suspect(s) after the death of two men, aged between 35 and 42, at Sakwe Location.
According to Sgt Kaya Matola-Mvanyashe, police spokesperson, members of the public of Sakwe location in Lusikisiki alerted police to a shooting incident at Nikwe location Lusikisikin on 27 August at 16:50.
“Upon arrival, police found a white double cab, which belonged to the Border Taxi association chairperson. Inside the vehicle they found a man with gunshot wounds in the upper body. It is further alleged that another victim was taken to hospital, however, he succumbed to his injuries and died,” Matola-Mvanyashe said.
The motive for the incident is not yet known and no arrests were made. Police are investigating two cases of murder.
