Police need help to locate missing Mthatha student

Mthatha detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing Asiphe Gama (23), who was reported missing by her family on April 10, 2022.

seeking the community’s assistance in tracing Asiphe Gama (23), who was
reported missing by her family on April 10, 2022.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Kaya Matola-Mvanyashe, said Asiphe was last seen by her aunt at New Payne locality in Mthatha on April 7 at 06:40. She was on her way to college as she is studying at King Sabatha Dalindyebo TVET College in Mthatha.

“She is dark in complexion, slender with no scars or
tattoos. She was last seen wearing black takkies, black and white striped trouser and Kaki T-shirt. SAPS started with the investigation but could not yet find
her,” said Matola-Mvanyashe.

information, they can contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Mtwa on
