Police seek community assistance in tracing a missing woman

Police Officers from Madeira Police Station in Mthatha are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing a woman, Chuma Beja (29), residing at Chris Hani Park in Mthatha, who went missing on October 27, 2023, while she was coming from work.

According to police spokesperson, Captain Welile Matyolo, Beja was on her way to catch a taxi at Mamela Rank in Mthatha after work at about 19:00 to her place where she was a tenant at Chris Hani Park when she went missing.

He said she wore a long green dress, brown jacket, green and black doek and a white sandal (push).

“Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in the investigation to contact SAPS Madeira or Crime stop number 086 001 10111 or the nearest police station. All information is strictly confidential, and callers may remain anonymous,” said Matyolo.
