Centane police are investigating a case of murder
following the discovery of a body of a 25-year-old man from Godidi Village in Centane
on November 2, 2021.
According to police spokesperson Siphokazi Mawisa, police
were called out after the discovery of a lifeless body allegedly assaulted to
death by community members.
“Police investigation revealed that the man was beaten by
community members after he was accused of stealing sheep. A case of murder has
been opened for investigation and no arrest has been made yet,” Mawisa said.
