Hip-Hop artist from Twazi location in Flagstaff, Siphiwo Mtikrakra, is using his music to spread a message of hope.

His new album, titled Amahla Ndinyuka, was released yesterday, October 27. The album consists of 10 songs.

He said the songs discuss the bad and good things he had faced in his life. He said he started rapping in 2012, but at that time he was only releasing singles, rather than full-length albums.

His first track was titled Seyikhon’iBBF. Mtikrakra added that he also worked with Kuhle ‘Emiky’ Madyolo from Cape Town on another single, titled Awundazi.

He released another song in 2018, titled Bambelela, followed by another one in 2019, titled Imali.

“I have chosen music because I want to teach young people about things that destroy their lives,” said Mtikrakra.
