A singer from Zimbane Valley in Mthatha has released a new single, titled So What To Highness, which will be available from early this month.

Lutho Tysen Ruba promised his supporters that the song would be an anthem for their festive season celebrations this year.

He said he was a member of the group called Breaking The Silence. To ensure that his song is successful, he worked with Ayabonga Solly Felem and Lihlumelo Stucks Mpengesi, and featured two vocalists, Phiwuthando Thando Nanto and Sibulele Chubby Rashana.

“I have released an album, titled The Journey of Two Titans, which consists of 15 songs. The album was released on September 22. So far we have also released a lot of singles.” He added that Nanto and Rashana were currently working on two EPs (in gqom and amapiano styles).

Ruba’s song would also be available on their gqom EP, to make sure it reaches their target market. “At our record label, we produce any genre. Nanto and Rashana are vocalists who sing in any genre. However, for these two upcoming EPs, the styles are strictly gqom and amapiano.”
