Are you a motorist in Mthatha who always refuels at Total? If so, then they have good news for you.
Total Energies Mthatha has launched its Cash-Back Loyalty programme, a loyalty rewards programme that will see customers getting 20c per litre back in cash for every litre of fuel purchased at Total Energies Fuel Centre. They are situated at the Corner of Madeira Street and Sutherland Road. The loyalty rewards programme will also be available at Total Energies Savoy.
“We’ve been limited in Mthatha as Total Energies because our rewards programme is aligned with companies that are not available here. We also identified issues with other rewards programmes where customers can only earn rewards when paying using their bank card.
“Our system is separate from any bank, meaning that you can purchase fuel using cash or any bank card and get cash back from your first litre purchased. The loyalty programme also allows companies to have a loyalty card for their fleet of vehicles where the company earns rewards every time the company driver swipes the card when refueling at Total,” explains Total Energies Mthatha manager, Reece Channing.
The other piece of good news is that, although the loyalty rewards programme is exclusive to Total Energies Mthatha, the cash-back earned can be redeemed at over 135 retailers affiliated to the programme across the country.
Customers join the loyalty programme for free through assistance by petrol attendants, as well as via an APP on Apple Store and Google Play Store.
Channing says they have put safety measures in place to ensure that no one can redeem someone else’s rewards by insisting that a customer produces a driving licence or identity document every time they want to redeem cash-back on a rewards card.
