Three female educators, between
25 and 35 years from Mqabo Primary School in Ngcobo, will appear before the
Ngcobo Magistrate’s Court today in connection with the alleged assault of a learner at the school on 29 October.
Police spokesperson, Captain
Namhla Mdleleni, said it is alleged that a nine-year-old learner saw educators kissing each other and allegedly told other learners.
“The victim
was then allegedly confronted by the educators and they assaulted her. A case of assault was opened and all three suspects were arrested,” said Mdleleni.
A 9-year-old learner was allegedly assaulted by her teachers.
