Mthatha born DJ and record producer, Awongiwe Jiba, popularly known as VIBE DJ in the music industry, has released a six-track amapiano music EP, titled Late Twenties( The Pursuit of Happiness).
The EP officially dropped yesterday, March 30, and is currently available in all digital music streaming and download platforms.
VIBE DJ’s latest EP is a follow-up to the one he released in September 2020, titled Through Thick and Thin.
One track from his latest EP, titled Qina, on which he features Amazon Da DJ, is already receiving massive airplay on national radio stations, as it has made it onto Metro FM and Umhlobo Wenene FM’s playlists, as well as receiving airplay on several community radio stations across the country.
VIBE DJ has been in the music industry since 2008, when he was introduced to the music software, Virtual DJ, and has never looked back since then.
The Ngolo-born versatile DJ said he did not limit himself to a particular genre of music, as he believed that flexibility and being able to produce different genres of music is a cornerstone for success in the cutthroat music industry.
VIBE DJ released the EP under his record label, Vibenation Records.
