Spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Unathi Binqose confirmed
that light snowfalls have been reported at Barkley pass between Barkley East and Elliot.
This morning no road closures were reported,
but officers are on the ground monitoring the situation.
“Motorists and general
road users are urged to be extra cautious as driving conditions are less than
ideal,” said Binqose.
