Libode detectives are investigating a murder following the death of a 50-year-old woman who was allegedly shot
and killed in front of her six children.
According to police spokesperons, Sgt Kaya Matola-Mvanyashe, the incident occurred yesterday, 12 August at about 07:00 at Sibangweni location near the Nondzame bottle
store.
“It is alleged that two unknown men, wearing balaclavas, arrived at the deceased’s homestead and
without saying anything, one man produced a firearm and shot the woman several
times in her upper body.”
The suspects are unknown and no arrests have been
made.
